Council gave consensus at the July 20, 2026, meeting for Staff to bring forward an ordinance imposing a temporary moratorium on the acceptance, processing, review, approval, and issuance of development orders, development permits, building permits, and related land use approvals for data centers, hyperscale data centers, artificial intelligence data centers, cryptocurrency mining facilities, and other high-energy data processing facilities.
