SUMMARY:
The current Routine Maintenance Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is set to expire on March 14, 2026. FDOT is requesting approval of a new three (3) year agreement that maintains the existing scope of services, including large machine mowing, small machine mowing, slope mowing, basic tree trimming, litter removal, edging, and sweeping.
The proposed agreement will add graffiti removal from FDOT signs to the scope of services.
Current Agreement (expires March 14, 2026):
• $12,688.75 per quarter
• $50,755.00 annually
Proposed Agreement:
• $21,885.29 per quarter
• $87,541.16 annually

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Staff recommends that City Council approve the proposed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for a three (3) year term and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement.
