Planning & Zoning Board - Councilwoman Dolbow’s appointment to fill the vacated seat of Eric Rainbird.

SUMMARY

Eric Rainbird, a former Planning and Zoning Board member won the special election and has vacated his seat on the Planning and Zoning Board. City staff have received four applications from residents wishing to be considered for the board. The four applicants are listed in alphabetical order as follows:

•                     Gigi Bennington

•                     Patrick Fisher

•                     James McGinnis

•                     Tim London

The Planning and Zoning Board at the May 14^th, 2025 regularly scheduled meeting approved a motion to appoint Mr. London to serve on the Planning and Zoning Board and Mr. Fischer as an alternative to the Planning and Zoning Board. The Planning and Zoning Board is the only board in the City that has a quorum of 5 instead of a quorum of 4 persons. City staff recommended the Planning and Zoning Board also appoint an alternative to help eliminate any quorum issues and to allow for more public participation.

RECOMMENDED ACTION

Approve the recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Board.
