SUMMARY:
On October 7, 2019, City Council authorized staff to procure the services of H&H Liquid Sludge Disposal, Inc. for the transportation and disposal of biosolids from the wastewater treatment plant in accordance with the terms and conditions of a competitively bid contract awarded by St. Johns County.
Subsequently, H&H Liquid Sludge Disposal, Inc. was awarded a competitively bid contract by the City of Holly Hill with lower pricing than the St. Johns County contract. H&H is willing to extend the Holly Hill pricing to Edgewater according to the same terms and conditions.
The duration of the Holly Hill contract is for three (3) years from 10/10/2019 with the option for (2) 1-year extensions with annual CPI-based cost adjustments.
