SUMMARY:
The changes in this agreement are presented in the underlined and strikethrough format. The changes are as follows:

Article 14 - Holidays -
Add Veterans Day

Article 29 - Wages -
For the fiscal year 2026-2027, all eligible employees shall receive wage adjustments in accordance with the final results and recommendations of the Classification and Compensation Study, subject to the City Council appropriating sufficient funds in the budget to fund the pay increase pursuant to § 447.309(2)(b), Florida Statutes. For fiscal year 2026-2027, any adjustments to an employee’s base hourly rate of pay shall be effective the first full pay cycle in the month of October 2026. For fiscal year 2027-2028 and 2028-2029, all eligible employees shall receive a 2.5% increase in their hourly rate of pay the first full pay cycle in the month of October. The 2.5% increase for fiscal year 2027-2028 and 2028-2029 will be subject to budget availability and appropriation of sufficient funds in the City’s budget.

Article 31 - Assignment Compensation -
Change the assignment title from Shift Training Officers to Department Training Staff, increasing the number of compensated assignments from four (4) to six (6).

Article 38 - Duration of Agreement -
This Agreement shall take effective upon ratification by the parties, and shall continue in full force and effect until midnight of September 30, 2029. This Agreement contains the entire agreements of the parties relative to wages, working conditions, and all other matters which have been or could have been negotiated by and between the parties prior to execution of this Agreement.
