SUMMARY:
At the Council meeting held on November 18, 2019, Council approved the contract addendum with Raftelis to provide rate sufficiency review related to water, wastewater, stormwater and refuse utility systems. The agreement included a not-to-exceed budget of $30,000.
The original agreement included Raftelis performing a detailed cost of service analysis, design rates for service, evaluate customer impacts of proposed rate designs, develop a report and presentation, and assist the City in the review and update of its rate resolution to implement any proposed rates.
In addition to the analytical and other tasks included in the original rate study scope the City identified the need to analyze rate alternatives for the water and wastewater system monthly rates for services. This amendment reflects additional services beyond those services included in the original scope approved by the City.
The detailed scope of additional services is outlined in the attached proposal.
The cost of the proposed amendment is $15,900.
