SUMMARY:
On July 9, 2024 the City of Edgewater issued a Request for Proposals (RFP 24-ES-11) with the sole purpose and intent of obtaining proposals from interested and qualified firms offering to provide Continuing Professional Engineering Services in accordance with the specifications stated.

DemandStar, and the State of Florida DMS, Office of Supplier Diversity site and was posted in City Hall.

On August 13, 2024, submittals were received from 17 firms. One was deemed non- responsive, as they did not provide the required certification (Proof of State of Florida Professional License). The remaining 16 submittals were deemed responsive and responsible.

On September 3, 2024, the Evaluation Committee met and reviewed the submittals and turned in their evaluation sheets through the E-Procurement Platform. Based on the published evaluation criteria, the firms were ranked as follows:

The Committee determined it would be most advantageous to the City to recommend multiple firms be awarded contracts. The discussion included the expanded need for an increased need with a broad range of services, based on the anticipated growth of the city.
