SUMMARY:
Florida Statutes including Chapter 166.241 provides that the City Council shall adopt a final budget and all adjustments within 60 days following the end of the fiscal year, the budget amendment must be adopted in the same manner as the original budget unless otherwise specified in the charter of the respective municipality. The City Manager and staff performed a final year-end budget to actual review of the revenue and expenditure for each fund. The City Council of the City of Edgewater amends the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 budget by revising the budget in total pursuant to itemizations contained in Exhibit “A” of the resolution.
The following makes up the amendment items:
• The City received an additional $85,293 from the State for contributions to the Police ($31,340) & Fire Pensions ($53,953)
