Wreaths Across America Fee Waiver Request

SUMMARY:
The Wreaths Across America ceremony, scheduled for Saturday, December 12, 2025, at 12:30 PM at the New Smyrna-Edgewater Cemetery, is a long-standing annual event in which the City has participated for many years.
Event liaison Gary Snider has requested support from multiple departments, including 50-60 chairs, a PA system, and two tents from Parks & Recreation; a police motor escort beginning at 12:00 PM, on-scene support for wreath placement, and a K-9 handler from the Police Department; and an engine with crew participation from the Fire Department.
These requests align with prior years’ practices and the ceremonial nature of the event.
