SUMMARY:
This budget amendment is being recommended to formally document the City’s ability to secure the City Match for the CDBG-DR Volusia County Transform 386 grant for the Construction of drainage Canals to connect E-9 Canal to the Silver Palm Canal during the current fiscal year and to application of grant. We currently have this project listed for fiscal year 2027-2028 in the five-year Capital Improvement Plan. This project was included in the recommend Stormwater master plan.
We have this project listed as debt financed. This earmarks the matching funds from the general fund reserves until the financing is secured or grant is awarded. We will amend the budget upon award / approval of other funding source.
