BACKGROUND:

A preliminary plat is a recording of the subdivision of land into individual lots or parcels which allows for the construction of infrastructure. A preliminary plat is an administerial process by which the Planning and Zoning Board and City Council must approve if the requirements of the land development code have been met. The applicant submitted to the City of Edgewater for review of the preliminary plat on April 17th, 2023. Subsequent reviews have taken place; the Technical Review Committee has reviewed the following preliminary plat and has found that the development meets the requirements of the land development code and the Residential Planned Unit Development (RPUD) through Ordinance 2021-O-32 recorded at Book 8202, Page 775. The contracted City surveyor has also reviewed the preliminary plat and the comments have been addressed in the most recent submittal.
