SUMMARY:

 

The Police Department is requesting approval of a budget amendment to utilize police impact fees, in an amount not to exceed $49,131, for the refurbishment and upfitting of a donated 28-foot support kitchen trailer. The project includes restoring the trailer to capital-grade condition and equipping it with commercial kitchen and support equipment to create a fully functional, self-sustaining mobile support unit.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:

 

Approve a budget amendment authorizing the use of police impact fees for the capital refurbishment and upfitting of a donated mobile support kitchen trailer, in an amount not to exceed $49,131, to establish a new growth-related operational support capability for the Police Department, and authorize the City Manager, or designee, to take all actions necessary to implement this approval.
