SUMMARY: On December 18, 2020 the Southeast Volusia YMCA is partnering with the City and the Conroy family to host a “Movie in the Park” to benefit the YMCA.
The Special Activity Permit fee is $100 and the rental fee for the amphitheater is $200; the YMCA is requesting the City waive the fees to allow all proceeds to go the YMCA.
Section 12.5-1 of the Code of Ordinances permits the sale and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages in a City park when associated with a Special Activity Permit and upon approval from City Council.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion to waive the $100 Special Activity Permit fee and $200 amphitheater rental fee and permit the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages for the YMCA Movie in the Park Special Activity Permit.
