SUMMARY:
At the regular City Council meeting held on November 18, 2019, Council approved a contract for Continuing Professional Engineering Services - Booth, Ern, Straughan & Hiott (BESH) resulting from the Request for Qualifications 19-GS-011 solicitation.
On August 28, 2020, BESH was acquired by Halff Associates, Inc. and organized as BESH Halff, Inc. The Principle the city has been working with, Robert Ern, P.E. is now the Vice President of BESH Halff and there will no change in continuity of services. The firm is currently providing Professional Engineering services for the City’s replacement of Galvanized Steel Water Mains project.
Staff recommends approval of the assignment of contract under the Terms and Conditions of the original RFQ and subsequent projects.
