SUMMARY:
The City of Edgewater has been awarded CDBG funds in the amount of $750,000.00 to rehabilitate 7,650 Linear Feet of Sanitary Sewer Lines and 24 Manholes within the City (map of service area is included). This project will comply with the U.S. Department of Housing and Community Development’s Benefit to Low-to-Moderate Income Persons National Objective.
The staff of the Environmental Services Department has sought secure engineering services from an existing continuing engineering services firm, Kimley-Horn to provide bidding and construction phase services.
Kimly-Horn’s proposed scope of work includes four (4) tasks:
Task 1: Design and Permitting (including survey and Geotech)
Task 2: Bidding Services
Task 3: Construction Administration Services
Task 4: Enhanced Construction Phase Services
Fee Schedule total not to exceed $58,500.00
The Engineering Services will be funded with budgeted funds and meet the requirement of the CDBG agreement for matching funds.

Motion to approve the proposal from Kimley-Horn in the amount of $58,500.00 and make the necessary budget amendment.
