SUMMARY:
The City of Edgewater and Matheson Tri-Gas, Inc. entered into an agreement with the City of Edgewater on February 4, 2019.
The City of Edgewater and Matheson Tri-Gas, Inc. propose to exercise the following contract options:
• Renew the agreement for an additional one-year term, extending the contract period from April 15, 2026, through April 14, 2027.
• Approve a Producer Price Index (PPI)-based price adjustment for the renewal term. Matheson has requested a 4.6% increase, which would raise the price from $498 per ton ($0.249 per pound) to $520.90 per ton ($0.2605 per pound).
