SUMMARY:
The City of Edgewater is applying for grant funding through the Florida Department of Financial Services Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program to replace six (6) sets of expired firefighter turnout gear that have exceeded their service life.
The total project cost is $33,135. If awarded, the grant will fund 95% ($31,473.50) of the project cost, with the City providing the required 5% match ($1,661.50). Approval of this resolution authorizes submission of the grant application and acceptance of the grant if awarded.
