SUMMARY:
The City of Palm Coast recently issued RFP CD-19-86 for Building Inspection and Plans Reviewer Services. The contract was awarded to multiple respondents including Universal Engineering Sciences. The terms and conditions of this RFP mirror the City’s requirements. The City has utilized Universal Engineering Sciences in the past with good results and as there are limited firms that can provide this service in our area, staff is requesting that Council approve the request to piggy back the contract between the City of Palm Coast and Universal Engineering Sciences.
Both the vendor and the City of Palm Coast have approved the Piggyback of the contract.
The City currently has an approved budget for Building Department Inspection Support and Services in the amount of $120,000 (001-1530-515.31-10)
