SUMMARY:
The City Council previously selected a candidate for the position of City Clerk; however, the selected candidate has since resigned. During the initial recruitment process, the City Council conducted second-round interviews with several candidates. Human Resources contacted those candidates to determine if they remained interested in the position.
Cassandra Killgore was among the second-round interviewees and is the only candidate who indicated she is still interested in the position. The City Council may consider appointing Cassandra Killgore to the position of City Clerk or may direct staff to readvertise the position and conduct a new recruitment process.
