SUMMARY:
The City of Edgewater is seeking funding assistance for the construction of a new public boat ramp facility and associated recreational amenities. The project will include up to four boat ramps (eight lanes) with floating docks, a boat preparation and wash area, a kayak launch, a construction launch site, and a police boat docking facility. Infrastructure enhancements will provide up to 80 boat trailer parking spaces, roadway and deceleration lanes, cart access, and upgraded utilities, including water, sewer, and electrical connections. Standardized City fixtures, such as light posts and a Flock camera system, will be incorporated for safety and accessibility.
