SUMMARY:

The applicant Theresa Cameron, applied for a Special Activity Permit to host the Heart of a Manatee 5k run at 650 Roberts Road on Saturday March 9th, 2024. The 5k run is to support the media center at Indian River Elementary School. The run will occur from 7am through 10am. The applicant has not requested any City services nor any road closures. Development Services did send the application out to the Technical Review Committee (TRC). TRC members did not have any comments and recommends approval for the issuance of the permit. The applicant has requested to waive the one hundred (100) dollar permit fee.
