The City Manager has sent the following directive:
“The City will officially recognize Veterans Day as a paid holiday, and City offices will be closed in observance. City Administration sought to have Veterans Day added as an official City holiday with the support of our City Council. This is an important opportunity for us to recognize and honor those who have served our country.
To all of our veterans, thank you for your service and sacrifice.”
Veteran’s day falls on the November Planning and Zoning Board meeting. Therefore, it is recommended to move the meeting to November 18, 2026.
