SUMMARY:

The Public Works & Utilities Department is requesting approval to proceed with the rehabilitation of two wastewater lift stations to ensure continued reliability and operational efficiency of the wastewater collection system.

 

Lift Station #21, located at 1500 Royal Palm Drive, requires rehabilitation, which will include replacement and upgrades of submersible wastewater pumps, control panels, risers, etc.

 

Project Cost: $62,528.00

 

Lift Station #27, located at 3205 Mango Tree Drive, requires rehabilitation, which will include replacement and upgrades of submersible wastewater pumps, control panels, risers, etc.

 

Project Cost: $72,884.00

 

The rehabilitation of these lift stations is critical to maintaining the reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance of the City’s wastewater collection system. These improvements will reduce the risk of system failures, enhance monitoring capabilities, and support uninterrupted service to residents.

 

The pricing is based on a competitively bid contract that is available to piggy-back (City of Clermont Annual Agreement No 2023-071) that is in the best interest of and meets the needs of the City and follows the City’s purchasing policy, terms and conditions.
