SUMMARY:
Since 2005, the City of Edgewater has had a contract with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to perform attractive maintenance of the roadway, roadside areas and median strips of US1 and SR 442.
Memorandum of Agreement term is three years. The FDOT will compensate the City of Edgewater in the amount of $12,688.75 per quarter, equating to $50,755.00 per year for the duration of the term. ($152,265 for the term of the contract)
The FDOT is currently compensating the City of Edgewater $127,200 (equating to $42,400 per year) as stated in current contract which began February 2014; renewed March 2017; ending March 24, 2020. Renewal contract dated March 2017 is attached for your convenience.
