SUMMARY:
The City Manager and staff have performed a review of the projects initiated and funds encumbered with open purchase orders approved in prior fiscal year ending 9/30/2020 and incomplete prior to commencement of current fiscal year.
The City has now received the money from Coronavirus relief funds. Staff has reviewed and prioritized the projects, equipment and other operating needs that the City deem to be in the best interest of the City.
Further, the CRA fund has been reviewed in detail. The revenue has been updated related to the revised property valuations provided by the property appraiser and funds have been allocated to the projects identified.
Fire Impact fees were identified to be used in acquisition of a Lucas Chest Compression System.
Finally there were operating needs identified and funding sources or other savings identified to cover the costs. The City Council of the City of Edgewater may amend the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 budget by revising the budget in total pursuant to itemizations contained in Exhibit “A” of the resolution.
