SUMMARY:
The City of Edgewater is applying for grant funding through the Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND) Waterways Assistance Program for the New Boat Ramp & Amenities, Phase 2 project. The proposed project includes construction of a new public boat ramp facility with boat ramps, floating docks, trailer parking, police boat docking, utility improvements, lighting, and related site amenities.
The total estimated project cost is $5,450,000. If awarded, FIND would provide up to 50% of the eligible project costs, with the City responsible for the remaining balance and ongoing operation and maintenance of the facility. Approval of this resolution authorizes submission of the grant application and acceptance of the grant funding if awarded.
