Aqua Park Swimming pools fill assistance

SUMMARY:
Aqua Park annually request assistance with the filling of the Aqua Park Swimming pool. One of the essential activities listed by the Governor was swimming and the Park owner has indicated that they are monitoring and adhering to the groups of ten limitation indicated in the executive order.
The pool is approximately 200,000 gallons. The pool if completely drained would cost up to $2,073 using our tiered rate system. By charging the lowest tier at $2.34 per 1,000 gal the cost to completely drain and fill the pool would be $468. This is an estimated savings of $1,605.
In light of the current declaration of emergency, staff pre-approved the pool fill assistance with the intent to request by council, approval in arrears.
