SUMMARY:
The Public Works & Utilities Department is requesting approval for the purchase and replacement of two (2) submersible wastewater pumps for Lift Station 40.
The existing pumps at Lift Station #40 are in need of replacement to maintain reliable system operation and prevent potential service disruptions. The proposed pumps are high-efficiency units designed for wastewater applications and include the following specifications:
• Closed loop cooling system
• Hardened impeller and bottom plate for durability
• 49-foot motor cable
• Five (5) year 100% warranty
The total cost for the purchase of both pumps is $53,380.00, as supported by the attached vendor quote.
Timely replacement of these pumps is critical to ensure continued operation of the lift station and to support the City’s wastewater infrastructure reliability.
