SUMMARY:
The City of Edgewater issued an Invitation to Bid (ITB 26-PW-03) on June 10, 2026 with the sole purpose and intent of obtaining bids from qualified and licensed contractors for ITB 26-PW-03 SUNTrail North Segment from SR 442 to Dale St. This project is funded by the Florida Department of Transportation
This solicitation was broadcast via the City’s E-Procurement Platform, as well as via DemandStar, Beacon Bid, and the State of Florida DMS Office of Supplier Diversity site, published in the Daytona Beach News Journal, and posted in City Hall.
On July 9, 2026, seven (7) bids were submitted and 3 no-bids were received. All seven (7) bids were deemed responsive and responsible

The Engineering/Consultant Firm, Stanley Consultants, reviewed the bids and recommends award per the stated bid award criteria to the lowest responsible/responsive bidder, Garcia Civil Contractors. The pricing breakdown is attached. Staff concurs with this recommendation
