SUMMARY:
Per Florida Statutes, including Chapter 200.065 (2)e 1. Provides that the City Council shall adopt a Tentative Operating Millage rate prior to the Tentative Budget. The staff recommended millage rate of $6.33 per thousand taxable value. This millage represents a 3.49% change from the roll back rate of $6.1165. This millage requires a two-thirds vote or 4 of 5 of the governing body.
