SUMMARY:
Mead and Hunt, Inc. is serving as the City of Edgewater’s contracted engineering firm for the G2/G-11 canal CDBG grant. Mead and Hunt were awarded the RFQ 23-ES-02, Professional Services Agreement CDBG-MIT Design and CEI Services for the G2/G-11 Canal Improvement Project. The City of Edgewater awarded the Phase A Construction portion to Masci General Contractor, Inc. at the December 1st, 2025 regular City Council meeting. Mead and Hunt have provided within the scope of a grant, Phase A CEI services. CEI is defined as Construction, Engineering, and Inspection services. The City does not have staff to perform these services and typically requires a third party engineering firm for private projects.
