SUMMARY:

John Ward of Everglades Boats had to resign from the Economic Development Board in April of 2024. The Economic Development Board considered the application for Joshua Champion to fill a vacant seat. Mr. Champion was approved at the April 21st City Council meeting to serve on the Economic Development Board.

 

Two individuals have applied to serve on the board. The first is Tim London, the second is Gigi Bennington. Both applicants have indicated a willingness to serve on both the Planning and Zoning Board and the Economic Development Board.

 

RECOMMENDED ACTION:

Staff defer to the judgment and recommendation of the Economic Development Board.
