SUMMARY:
The City Council will recognize two finalists from the community-wide Butterfly Wing Art Project. The project invited students from multiple schools to participate in a creative art competition, with hundreds of children submitting original butterfly wing designs.
The two finalist designs were selected for their outstanding creativity, artistic excellence, and representation of the project's vision. These winning designs have been incorporated into 2 permanent butterfly wing murals at Hawks Park that will serve as a lasting piece of public art for the community.
