SUMMARY:
The City of Edgewater issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ 20-ES-010--) on June 26, 2020 with the sole purpose and intent of obtaining Qualifications from interested companies to render Public Works Facility Design services.
Seven submittals were received and all were deemed to be responsible/responsive responders. On August 19, 2020, the Evaluation Committee met and discussed the submittals based on the criteria listed in the RFQ document. The Committee ranked the proposals as follows (Master Grading Sheet attached):

3. CPH, Inc.
4. The Lunz Group
5. Architects RZK, Inc.
6. KMF Architects
7. DJ Design Group
The top three firms (SchenkelShultz Architecture, Bentley Architects and Engineers, Inc. and CPH, Inc.) were invited to make presentation to the Evaluation Committee on September 2, 2020 beginning at 10:00am. With the presentation schedule as follows:
10:00 a.m. - Bentley Architects and Engineers, Inc.
10:45 a.m. - CPH, Inc
11:30 a.m. - SchenkelShultz
The Committee asked that the presenting firms focus their presentations on the firms’ specific approach and experience with similar projects including the following items:
1. Provide explanation of your needs analysis assessment.
2. What is your initial concept of what the finished project will look like upon completion?
3. What Grant funding opportunities do you foresee for this project?
4. How will you firm ensure project costs remain competitive?
5. What puts your firm above the others?
Each firm had 20 minutes to present, followed by a 10 minute question and answer session.
The Evaluation Committee reconvened immediately following the final presentation to give a final ranking. Per the published criteria, Final ranking was based solely on presentations with a 10 point scale (per evaluator) based on the criteria listed above. The final ranking of the firms is as follows:
