SUMMARY:
The City Council of the City of Edgewater amends the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 budget by revising the budget in total pursuant to itemizations contained in Exhibit “A” of the resolution.
City staff received donations for the back-to-school event in the amount of $7,370 for bikes and supplies.
The City is required to pay $108,000 in mitigation credits as part of the permitting process for the south Edgewater boat ramp project.
The City received updated information related to the Hawk’s Park netting repairs damaged during Hurricane IAN. The potential quote of $26,300 would provide the necessary materials to repair in house with potential reimbursement if received by deadline.
The City has the opportunity to purchase two police canines at a significant savings in the amount of $36,000 using funding from the Special Law Enforcement Trust Fund.
This resolution amends the budget accordingly.
