SUMMARY:
Based upon the August 4th, 2025 Community Redevelopment Agency meeting, City staff have prepared a budget amendment to facilitate the purchase of additional property. The proposed budget amendment condenses the County money and reallocates it toward the construction of E Park Avenue streetscape. The budget amendment also adds $60,000 towards land acquisition away from the small scale façade grant program. City staff have less than $40,000 worth of encumbrances from awardees of the small scale façade grant program. The proposed budget amendment aligns with the Community Redevelopment Agency’s direction to purchase 104 N Park Place, 114 N Riverside Drive, and 123 E Park Avenue.
