SUMMARY:
The Economic Development Board (EDB) has added two new members, Joshua Champion and Tim London. As good practice, it is important that the Board as a whole review the board's by-laws and understand it's responsibilities. City staff believe the review of the by-laws will help address deficiencies with the current EDB. At the last EDB meeting, Mr. London discussed that the by-laws call for nine members. The Board currently only has seven members. City staff have received two new applications since the last EDB meeting. City staff recommend that the Board discuss the following:
1. Do you want to amend the by-laws to revise the Board to seven members in lieu of nine members?
2. Do you want to interview the two new applicants at the next Economic Development Board meeting?
