SUMMARY:
Per Florida Statutes, including Chapter 200.065 (2) e 1. Provides that the City Council shall adopt a Final Operating Millage rate prior to the Final Budget. The staff recommended millage rate of $6.33 per thousand taxable value. This millage represents a 7% change from the roll back rate of $5.9161. This millage requires a two-thirds vote or 4 of 5 of the governing body.
