SUMMARY:
The City of Edgewater maintains and services fifty-nine (59) sewer lift stations throughout the City. These stations are key infrastructure assets used for the transmission of wastewater from Edgewater’s neighborhoods to the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 500 W Ocean Avenue.
At this time the City’s lift station #30 has failed and is in need of rehabilitation.
Danus Utilities, Inc., a local contractor, proposed to carry out necessary by-pass and rehabilitation services for Lift Station 30, with a cost of $49,407.00. Pricing is per piggyback of the City of Clermont Annual Agreement No. 2023-071.
Hydra Service proposed to provide the USEMCO factory-built duplex “top vault” system, provide and install all necessary electrical with a cost of $98,610.00.
Total cost for the rehabilitation of lift station #30 is $148,017.00.
