The Edgewater Police Department is seeking to purchase a .50 caliber sniper rifle, optic, suppressor, and carry case. Refer to attachment for further details of equipment and accessories. The purchase is not to exceed $18,000 and the funding source will be from the use of the Law Enforcement Trust Fund. Investing in this equipment directly supports the department's mission to protect and serve the community, particularly during times of crisis.
