On November 5, 2024, a General Election was held to fill the expired term of City Council District 2 and a referendum question. The following election results were certified by the Volusia County Canvassing Board on November 7, 2024:

The following election results on the referendum were certified by the Volusia County Canvassing Board after a manual recount:
