SUMMARY:
On March 6, 2023, the City Council awarded the competitive solicitation ITB 23-ES-06 “Sodium Hypochlorite for Water and Wastewater Treatment Facilities - FY23” to Odyssey Manufacturing Co. for an initial period of one (1) year, starting April 1, 2023. The original agreement period will end in March 2024. The contract allows for an additional four (4) renewals each one-year in duration.
As per the terms of the agreements, please find the attached renewal agreement. The first renewal agreement for ITB 23-ES-06 will extend the contract duration to March 6, 2025 along with an adjustment in the contract price. The vendor offered a price increase of 4% which was supported by appropriate justification. Both parties agree to a price increase of $0.06 per gallon above the original bid price, increasing from $1.49 to $1.55 per gallon.
