SUMMARY:
The Florida Inland Navigation District has a grant available under their Waterways Assistance Program staff would like to apply for to purchase a new police boat. The grant will provide 50% of the cost. Staff is confident the city can afford $100,000 as a match, so the grant request is for $200,000. If the city is successful and awarded the grant, a solicitation for bids to boat builders would need to be broadcast. To apply for this grant, FIND requires the following resolution must be adopted.
