Request from CRUSH Girls Softball Club for a discounted rate to use the Baseball Field at Whistle Stop Park

SUMMARY:
Jonathan Miller with CRUSH Girls 14 & under Softball Club is respectfully requesting a discounted rate to use the Baseball Field at Whistle Stop Park for the Spring Season Practices beginning February 13, 2024 through June 1, 2024 Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The Club has approximately 12 girls, of which, approximately 10 are Edgewater residents.
As per the Fee Resolution 2023-R-15 adopted by City Council August 21, 2023, the fees are as follows:
Ballfield without lights $35.00 per hour
Ballfield with lights $65.00 per hour (note: this covers the cost of one field lit per hour)
At this rate, the cost would be: $4,420.00 for the field for the season beginning February 13, 2024 through June 1, 2024. CRUSH is requesting to pay $375 for the season.
CRUSH coaches are volunteers and the club plans to participate in community outreach this season.
