SUMMARY:
The changes in this agreement are presented in the underlined and strikethrough format. The changes are as follows:

> ARTICLE 6 - Hours of Work and Overtime - A. - Add language so an officer may not rotate with the squad for rebalancing purposes.
> ARTICLE 13 - Vacation/PTO - B. - Change maximum accumulated vacation leave hours from 480 to 500 to be consistent with other eight-hour employees.
o F. - First update to the PTO policy since its inception. Employees will accrue PTO on a bi-weekly basis and will be entitled to use it at the completion of one (1) year's employment. For extraordinary circumstances, the employee will be entitled to 24 hours of their PTO after completion of six (6) months of service. PTO accrued and not used may now be carried over and accumulated up to a maximum amount of hours instead of the Prolong Sick Leave Bank. Clarify PTO has no cash value upon resignation, termination, or retirement and will count towards hours worked for overtime purposes when scheduled 72 hours in advanced.
> ARTICLE 18 - Promotions - C - Eligibility for Sergeant's exam changed from five (5) to three (3) years' experience.
> ARTICLE 28 - Education - A - Add language to allow the City to pay an employee's full tuition up front and then the employee will repay their share through payroll deduction.
o E. and F. - Change wording for clarification.
> ARTICLE 30 - Wages - Update the fiscal year. (Discuss retroactive pay)
> ARTICLE 33 - Take Home Vehicle - Change the requirements to be eligible to participate in the Take Home Vehicle program.
> ARTICLE 39 - Duration of Agreement - Update the fiscal years for this three (3) year agreement.
