SUMMARY:
The City of Edgewater solicited for bids for concrete services resulting in the potential agreement with Sparks Concrete, LLC. Sparks Concrete, LLC has agreed to honor the Port Orange contract pricing that expired on November 7, 2015 with the City of Edgewater Leisure Services Department from a proposal received prior to expiration to provide services to construct ADA compliant sidewalks along the south side of East Ocean Avenue from US Hwy 1 to Riverside Drive. Sparks Concrete, LLC will supply all materials and labor, for the sum of $24,377.50 for East Ocean Avenue project activity. The ADA compliant sidewalks are budgeted for the 2016 fiscal year and will be reimbursed with CDBG funds from FY ’14/’15.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion to award to Sparks Concrete, LLC to construct ADA compliant sidewalks on East Ocean Avenue for $24,377.50, and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement and issue the purchase order.
